Summer on Stage
(for ages 8 to 18)
In this 2 1/2 week camp, students spend the morning delving deeply into training in voice, movement, scene study, character development, and improvisation. Afternoons concentrate on acting techniques and the rehearsal process. Sign up for full day sessions to participate in a final, fully staged performance on the last day of each session. Choose from one of two sessions to best fit your summer schedule, or enroll in both for a 10% discount! |

Play your part in "Romeo and Juliet"
or co-create an original performance as part of an ensemble
Summer on Stage Session 2
August 1-August 17, 9:30am to 4pm
Play your part in "much ado about nothing"
or co-create an original performance as part of an ensemble
*Morning only camps available from 9:00am to 12:00pm. PLEASE NOTE: Morning only students do not participate in performances, or the last two days of camp due to performance schedule. Please specify full day or morning only on your registration.

meet your instructors
Andrea White recently appeared in Radio Golf at Portland Playhouse and Rocket Man with Baseroots Theatre Company. She has received Drammy Awards for her work at Artists Repertory Theatre and Theatre Vertigo. White has appeared at the IFCC, Profile Theatre Company, Portland Center Stage's JAW Festival and in Los Angeles in the 30th anniversary revival of Hair. White’s film and television work includes guest appearances on NYPD Blue, Family Matters, Living Single, and Why My Daughter - The Gail Moffitt Story as well as The Crowley Project (CBS Films), Drinking Games (Village Idiot Productions) and ASL (Lions Gate Productions).
Melissa Whitney is a professional actress and dedicated Special Ed educator for the Beaverton School District. In addition to teaching for PAC’s Summer on Stage program since 2005, Whitney has also taught at the Vancouver School of Arts and Academics. She is a proud member of Northwest Classical Theatre Company and has also performed with Coho Productions, Profile Theatre Company, Classic Greek Theatre of Oregon, Quintessence Language and Imagination Theatre, Re-Theatre Instrument and Lakewood Theater Company and other local companies. Melissa received her undergraduate degree in theatre from Portland State University and holds a Master’s degree in Education.
